Ted Baker’s Commercial Street Store wins Store Concept 2015 Award
We are delighted to announce that Ted Baker‘s Commercial Street Store, has won Retail Focus’ Store Concept Award 2015. FormRoom worked in collaboration with Ted’s creative team on this quirky concept store, which was designed to shine a light on the wider world of Ted and the brand’s full lifestyle offerings through interactive installations and unique shop-fit units.
Formroom worked closely Ted Baker from initial concept to create spectacular installations that would ensure customer engagement throughout the space, with a focus upon the footwear, eyewear and watch departments.
Key features included The Wall of Frame, an impactful installation of half-faced busts, forms an eye-catching display unit for Ted’s eyewear range. Customers are encouraged to interact with items by changing the glasses on each face.
These wacky, weird and wonderful installations capture the essence of Ted’s humour and continue a quirky aesthetic throughout the entire layout of the Ted Baker & Moore Store.
Elsewhere, motorised elements such as the mechanical cog, with attached mannequin legs, and conveyor belt transforms Ted’s footwear range into a 3D spectacle.
