Anya Hindmarch

FormRoom were commissioned by Anya Hindmarch to design, manufacture and install this beautifully detailed pop-up. The pop-up took place in luxury department store Selfridges, promoting the brand’s bespoke service, where customers could emboss initials onto Anya Hindmarch product. The success of the pop-up led to an extended running time.

Working collaboratively with the Anya Hindmarch team, we faced two key challenges; a very short time frame and covering existing concessions fixtures.

Project Features

Retail Interior Design

The Selfridges pop-up was transformed through a combination of authentic and imitation wooden panels to resemble a traditional craftsman’s workshop.

The pop-up was a beautiful replicate of the original Pont Street shop, including the iconic slim drawer feature.

The project was nominated for ‘Most Eco-Friendly Scheme’ at the VM & Display Awards.

“Installed over just two nights the finished pop up was testament to the dedication, creativity and craftsmanship of both the Anya Hindmarch and FormRoom teams.”

The pop-up was constructed with black gloss MDF to form the store walls. Adding to the authenticity, we applied finely detailed mouldings, CNC cut and wood-turned to the exterior. This was accompanied by a beautifully restored glass-panelled vitrine to greet customers at the entrance.

To conceal the existing counter, we covered the till entirely in clad, wood and added brass handle detailing.
We treated reclaimed furniture and parquet flooring, and restored an old wooden ticket booth into a functioning workshop.
