Make My Magnum, Selfridges

Magnum made strides in the future of customer and brand experience, developing the “Make My Magnum” campaign which offer customers the chance to make their own luxury magnum.

As part of their 25-year celebration, Magnum unveiled a breath-taking example of forward-thinking design at Selfridges Department Store in London.

FormRoom were honoured to collaborate with Unilever on this world-class design and manufacture. Our sister division Prop Studios created the show-stopping Selfridges window display, incorporating beautifully intricate brand visuals at large scale. View the award-winning project here.

FormRoom produced all concept renders, right through to the full detailed technical drawings for the Wonder Room and Magnum dipping bar.

The “Make My Magnum” bar design combined all elements for the large selection of toppings and chocolate sauces. The design direction was elegant and stylish shapes with luxury at the forefront. We added our own unique touches and design features which enriched the overall feel of the Wonder Room.

Manufacture + Implementation

FormRoom manufactured and installed all elements into the pop-up store. Our talented production team crafted the Magnum dipping bar with plywood and MDF. Corian was used for the bar top and curved glass at the front edge. Existing displays in the space were clad with Foamex which had printed wallpaper.

The bulkhead over the shop front was a sculptural element using ice-cream sticks and an acrylic light box. A giant hollow acrylic M was filled with real cocoa beans and up lit. Large plywood tables were cut in the shape of a magnum stick and routed.
